How to find this information:
Start with a pension statement
In the UK, all pension providers should send you an annual pension statement. You may receive this directly from the pension company, from your employer or your financial adviser. If you haven't received a pension statement in the past year, it could be that the pension provider does not have your latest contact details.
Pension Provider:
The majority of UK pensions are provided by a group of 120 pension companies (e.g. Legal and General, Aviva). If you set up a personal or stakeholder pension either directly or via a financial adviser, then you will be able to find the providers name on a recent pension statement. If you are searching for a company pension, it might not be obvious who the pension is with. If your employer provides a choice of pension funds, then the pension provider and fund name should be included in the annual pension statement they send you. If not, give your employers pension department a call and ask them to confirm the underlying pension funds.
Pension Fund Name
If you have a personal or stakeholder pension, you can find this information on any recent pension statement. Examples of fund names include - Aviva UK Index Tracking 1 - . If your search results are coming back empty, try expanding your search by entering less text. For example, instead of searching for "Aviva UK Index Tracking 1" try searching for "Tracking". If this fails, then your pension might not be in our list.

**Performance figures are based on trailing returns that cover a rolling period whether annually, monthly, weekly, or daily. For example, on March 14th 2010, the one year trailing return would cover the period from March 14th 2009 till March 14th 2010 and the 1-month trailing return would cover the period from February 7th to March 14th 2010. The Performance Rank figure groups all funds by their ABI Sector, and sorts them based on performance. A Performance Rank of #1 indicates the fund was the top performing fund in that ABI Sector.
